South Asia Water (SAWA) Fellowships at Centre for Water Resources (CWR), Civil Engineering Department, College of Engineering, Guindy – Anna University Chennai – 600 025
International Development Research Centre (IDRC/CRDI), Canada through South Asia Consortium for Interdisciplinary Water Resources Studies (SaciWATERs) Hyderabad, is providing fellowships for 15 students for three years (at 5 candidates per year) to pursue their master’s program in M.E. – Integrated Water Resources Management at the, starting from academic year 2013-14. The second batch of five candidates will be selected this academic year 2014-15.
Duration: 3 years
Eligibility Criteria:
Four Female candidates and one male candidate with B.E. (Agricultural Engineering), B.E. (Agricultural and Irrigation Engineering), B.E. (Civil Engineering) and B.E. (Geo-informatics) who secure admission through Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2014.
Fellowship:The fellowship consists of :
1. A monthly fellowship of Rs.15,000/- per month.
2. Actual Fees will be reimbursed
3. Research costs would be covered and
4. Trainings provided at Partner Institutions.
The five SAWA fellows would be selected from among the candidates who take admission for M.E.-IWRM at Centre for Water Resources.
P.S. – The candidates need to have a valid passport to travel for trainings at partner institutions.
