GE Healthcare is hiring a Manufacturing Graduate Engineering Trainee for its Bengaluru site. Role Overview

This trainee role provides practical involvement in the day-to-day manufacturing of Ultrasound and PCS products. The work combines production support with product quality, equipment readiness, controlled documentation and continuous improvement on the manufacturing site.

• Support daily manufacturing activities for Ultrasound and PCS products.
• Investigate manufacturing and product quality issues and support their resolution.
• Work with equipment calibration, verification, validation, installation and maintenance activities.
• Support non-conforming material handling and supplier quality activities.
• Maintain manufacturing work instructions and Device History Records.
• Support engineering change communication and related training.
• Contribute to initiatives related to quality, cost, productivity and EHS.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• B. E./B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Fresh graduates can apply.
• Candidates with up to one year of relevant experience are also eligible.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in manufacturing operations for Ultrasound and PCS products.
• Review manufacturing and product quality problems, investigate the causes and help implement resolutions.
• Coordinate activities related to calibration, verification, validation, installation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Assist with the management of non-conforming materials and supplier quality matters.
• Update and maintain manufacturing work instructions and Device History Records.
• Communicate engineering changes to the relevant teams and support training linked to those changes.
• Follow site quality management system, EHS, HR and administrative policies.
• Support improvement work focused on quality, cost, productivity, EHS, Lean manufacturing, Kaizen and Poka-Yoke.

Skills Required

• Understanding of manufacturing operations and production processes.
• Knowledge of manufacturing quality activities and product quality investigation.
• Familiarity with equipment calibration, verification and validation.
• Ability to work with technical documentation, work instructions and Device History Records.
• Awareness of EHS and Lean manufacturing practices.
• Knowledge of Kaizen, Poka-Yoke and structured problem-solving.
• Clear communication and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
