AMCAT is a employability assessment test which focuses on entry level jobs for freshers. The main advantage of taking AMCAT test is to increase your chances to attend more off campus and interview. AMCAT has been immensely grown in last 2-3 years as its providing one of the best leading IT companies in india. In many colleges there is no placement and there is no one to find out the talent of those students who all are capable of learning and creativity. AMCAT provides a good platform to those students also who all are not satisfied with their current job and opting for another company. Even in Recession times myamcat has provide jobs to many aspiring students.
AMCAT Guidelines:
- Each Module is of 900 marks.
- Cannot Skip any question.
- Cannot go back to the Previous Question.
- No Negative Marking.
- No Calculators Allowed
- Minimum questions to be answered per module is 16 to generate a score.
- Every Module with a separate timer and leftover time will not be credited to another module.
- Cannot Skip any module.
- CS/IT/EC Students need to attempt at-least one module out of C++, Java, UNIX, SQL.
- We will prefer if students of other streams except CS/IT/EC can also attempt Computer
- Programming though it is Optional. This will increase the visibility.
It is very important for a student to note their AMCAT ID’s, once the Test Starts.

2. Syllabus is same for all department except Core subjects. For more details you can refer the attachment given in post.

yes AMCAT is best for frehshers. There are lots of companies hiring 2013 batch freshers. If you score good marks then you can attend direct interviews.

No there is no difference. Either you write exam from college or AMCAT center both are same.

Go For C Programming Module (It is highly recommended for IT companies). Additionally You can also choose Module related to your stream (ECE) .

Yes candidates pursuing engg (3rd yr) are eligible to attend AMCAT but it is not recommended. It is advised to write AMCAT Exam in Final year to get good number of opportunities. Meanwhile, you can prepare for AMCAT Exam to get good score.
I got 58 in 10th if I got creck amcat. Then acenture and tce cal me for interview
If you specifically talk about Accenture then you dont have to worry about your 10th & 12th percentage because Accenture criteria is 60% overall aggregate in BE/BTech (Degree).

There are 3 compulsory modules (Verbal, Quant, & Reasoning). Remaining modules are optional (but you need to attend at least 1 module). Additionally MCA students can choose Computer Programming (Highly Recommended For IT Companies) and computer science.

Yes It does matter for Many Companies. If you have overall 60% + in your academics then you can get lots of interview calls. Though it is advised to take AMCAT exam because company like Accenture doesnt see your 10th or 12th marks.
