About UPSC Civil Services and Indian Forest Service Recruitment 2015 :
UPSC invites online application for the recruitment of various vacancies through Civil Services and Indian Forest Examination 2015. It is considered to be one of the toughest examination across India. The popular job posts are Indian Administrative Service ( IAS ), Indian Foreign Service ( IFS ) , Indian Police Service ( IPS ) and Indian Revenue Service ( IRS ) and many others. The examination will be conducted in 3 phases – Preliminary, Mains and Personality Test ( Interview). The commencement of filling and submitting online application will start from 23rd May 2015 and ends on 19th June 2015. The preliminary examination is scheduled to be held on 23rd August 2015.

The Preliminary Examination consists of two papers of Objective type (multiple choice questions) and carry maximum of 400 marks. This exam is only of qualifying nature; the marks obtained in the prelims are not counted for determining the final order of merit.
