Position : Sub Inspectors in CAPF and Delhi Police & ASI in CISF
Salary : Rs 9300-34800 + Rs 4200 Grade Pay for SI ( entry pay around Rs 36k per month without allowances ) and Rs 5200-Rs 20200 Grade Pay for ASI ( entry pay around Rs 30k per month without allowances ) { click here to know more }
Eligibility Criteria :
Educational Qualification (as on 1 Jan 2016 ) : Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university / institution.
Note : For the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police only:- Male candidates must possess and also carry a valid Driving License for LMV(Motor cycle and Car) as on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Standard Tests . Otherwise they will not be allowed to undergo Physical Endurance and Standard Tests.
Age Limit ( as on 1 Jan 2016 ) : Minimum 20 and Maximum 25 years for Unreserved candidates. ( for age relaxation in many other categories , refer official notification )
Selection Process :
- No Interview ( government has struck out process of Interview for non gazetted posts in Central Government jobs )
- Written Test :
- Paper – 1 : 200 Marks ( 4 sections containing 50 marks each and duration of 2 hours with negative marking of 1/4th per wrong answer )
- Paper – 2 : 200 Marks { Only English paper }
- Note : Candidates who will qualify in Paper -1 only able to attend Paper -2 and Paper – 2 will be evaluated for the candidates who have cleared PET and Medical Test )
- Final merit will be prepared based on the marks obtained in Paper – 1 and Paper – 2 together.
