About eLitmus:

eLitmus conducts a test known as pH test at national level across India every week. This test is very useful for the freshers to get a job with good salary package through off campus. Usually clients of eLitmus call candidates for interview through pH score and the percentile secured by candidate in the exam.

Why elitmus Test Is Important For Freshers:

eLitmus Test is very important in terms of students placement. We have seen from last 4-5 years Many IT Companies are facing big crisis which directly affects the most of the engineering students career. But we also have seen in last few years eLitmus providing big companies like Accenture,Mac,McAfee,IBM,Adobe etc which gives more credit to the eLitmus. Students who scored good percentile in eLitmus are getting direct opportunity to face off campus and interviews. eLitmus is a good platform for those students who are from small colleges because there is no placement for many engineering colleges in India. Almost every company is offering salary above 3 lakh per annum. Even few companies are offering 13-14 L p.a. for freshers.

Eligibility Criteria For eLitmus Test:

There is no eligibility criteria as such to take up the pH test. Currently, only candidates having/pursuing a degree in BE/B.Tech, MCA, ME/M.Tech or M.Sc(CS/IT) will benefit from the pH test.

What Is pH Test?

The pH test is a national level test. The pH test score is in form of percentile which helps candidates benchmark themselves against the national talent pool. The candidates can also use the score to apply to all participating companies for a period of 2 years for freshers. There is no expiration for experienced jobs.

What is the pH test fee?

The pH test fee is at present Rs. 1003/-.
You can either pay in cash (accepted in our Bangalore office only), or send  DD or pay online.

Can I take the pH test more than once?

There is no restriction/time gap on the number of times you can take the pH test. Typically the best score will be considered for shortlisting by companies. Every time you take up the test the required fee amount has to be paid.

What is the cutoff percentile to get interview calls?

Companies typically shortlist candidates for interviews on the basis of the skill sets required for the given job profile. Is Is advisable to maintain percentile above 80% to get more number of calls and opportunities. Also good academic record is plus point for students to get easily placed during interviews.

Paper Pattern And Syllabus For eLitmus Test:

There are 3 Sections of an eLitmus pH Test Paper and each section contains 20 Questions.

  1.  Quantitative Aptitude:
  2.  Problem Solving or Data Interpretation and Reasoning
  3.  Verbal Ability

There are 20 Questions in each section. Total 60 questions in 2 hours. For practice you can read any MBA entrance examination paper. There are few websites like m4maths.com is helpful for candidates placement and elitmus related problem solving.
