Elitmus Employment Test For Freshers 2017-18

About eLitmus:

eLitmus is a employability test for candidates seeking to make their career into IT sector. Since it was launched in 2005, eLitmus has been redefining how fresher and entry-level recruitment is done in India. eLitmus proprietary pH Test evaluates job seekers based on a variety of parameters, and grades them nationwide using an advanced statistical model, resulting in a pH Score for each candidate. Why elitmus Test Is Important For Freshers:

eLitmus Test is very important in terms of students placement. We have seen from last 2-3 years Many IT Companies are facing big crisis which directly affects the most of the engineering students career. But we have also seen in last few years eLitmus providing big companies like Accenture,Mac,McAfee,IBM,Adobe etc which gives more credit to the eLitmus. Students who scored good percentile in eLitmus are getting direct opportunity to face off campus and interviews. eLitmus is a good platform for those students who are from small colleges because there is no placement for many engineering colleges in India. The companies are paying almost a average above 3 lakh per annum. Even Many Companies are offering 10 LPA or more for freshers.

Eligibility Criteria For eLitmus Test:

There is no eligibility criteria as such to take up the pH test. Currently, only candidates having/pursuing a degree in BE/B.Tech, MCA, ME/M.Tech or M.Sc(CS/IT) will benefit from the pH test.

What Is pH Test?

The pH test is a national level test. The pH test score is in form of percentile which helps candidates benchmark themselves against the national talent pool. The candidates can also use the score to apply to all participating companies for a period of 2 years. Generally candidates with good score can easily get shortlisted for the company interviews. 

What is the pH test fee?

The pH test fee is at present Rs. 1003/- (Including 153 GST).
You can either pay in cash or send DD or pay online.

Can I take the pH test more than once?

There is no restriction/time gap on the number of times you can take the pH test. Typically the best score will be considered for shortlisting by companies. Every time you take up the test the required fee amount has to be paid.

What is the cutoff percentile to get interview calls?

Companies typically shortlist candidates for interviews on the basis of the skill sets required for the given job profile. Is Is advisable to maintain percentile above 85% to get more number of calls and opportunities. Also good academic record is plus point for students to get easily placed during interviews.

Question Paper Pattern And Syllabus For eLitmus Test:

There are 3 Sections of an eLitmus pH Test Paper and each section contains 20 Questions.

  1.  Quantitative Aptitude:
  2.  Problem Solving or Data Interpretation and Reasoning
  3.  Verbal Ability

There are 20 Questions in each section. Total 60 questions in 2 hours.

How To Prepare for eLitmus Exam:

There is no separate text book for this exam. We have listed few books with their author name. Students who are preparing for CAT exam can also find these books very useful in preparing for CAT exam.     My Score for elitmus held on 26 th october is total = 128.80 Verbal , marks = 67.50 , percentile = 71.36% Reasoning ,marks = 50 , percentile = 91.5 % Quant , marks = 11.30 , percentile = 55.20%.
    My Marks in class 10 th is 85.2 % , in 12 th is 74.4% and in b.tech is 76.2%.

    So friends and my respected seniors .plzz guide me what are my chances.Will i get any call from good companies or not.

    • Try to maintain good percentage in your academics , You can write elitmus either in your last sem or best choice will be after your final exams. There are lot of good companies with high CTC hire through elitmus.

    Friends I have a 10th 70%,12th 47%,bsc 70%,MCA 67% (4th sem) .but my low percentage 12th how can get a software job…give me some suggestions plz…..

    I really need a guidance,i got 61.4 in 10th class,got 51.6 in 12th class and in B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering i got 63.49(Graduation year 2014) only.
    Should i pursue for the elitmus test?
    Is this test applicable for mechanical engineers?
    Are companies will selecting me?
    What should i do?
    Iam stuck in this all,please get me out of this.

    I had my b.tech in ECE with an aggregate of 76%,
    intermediate with 85%,
    ssc with 86%,
    i need some guidences to get good score in elitmus to be hired by a company, will u please help me in giving guidences,
    also what is the minimum percentile required to be hired by top companies,

    • score good in Quant and Reasoning and minimum 70 percentile in all the sections ( percentile doesn’t mean percentage , kindly google it in case you don’t know ). Use books used for CAT preparation

  9. I am a btech(metallurgical engineering) 2016 passout. I am good at coding and want a job in the IT sector.
    Will i get calls from IT companies if i give PH test.
    I am a NIT passout with 7 cgpa and 80% above in my 10th and 12th
