Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission UPPSC is inviting online application for 10768 Posts of LT Grade Teachers (Assistant Teacher – Trained Graduate). B.Ed is compulsory for these job posts including for Computer Teacher. Last year for these posts appointment was done on the basis of marks scored in the academics and therefore it was cancelled. This year LT Grade 2018 Assistant Teachers Examination is conducted through UPPSC and written examination will be held.

Eligibility Criteria :
Age Limit : Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have
crossed the age of 40 years on July 1, 2018 i.e. they must have not been born earlier than 2nd July, 1978 and not later than July 1, 1997.
Educational Qualification : Candidates must have Graduation degree in the concerned subject and B.Ed Degree from the recognized university.
Note 1: For Computer Teacher: (i) B.Tech. / B.E. (in Computer Science) from a recognised University in India. OR B.Sc. in Computer Science. OR B.Sc in Computer Application, OR Bachelor of Computer Application or Bachelor’s degree with ‘A’ Level course from NIELIT.
(ii) B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognised University in India.
Note 2: CTET & TET Certificate is not compulsory.
Selection Process :
There will be one question paper of multiple choice objective type and each question will
carry 01 Marks. The aforesaid Question paper will be divided into two parts:
- Part first (1) – General Studies – 30 Questions (Objective Type)
- Part second (2) – Main Subject – 120 Questions (Objective Type)
- Total Number of Questions – 150
- Time Period – 2.00 hrs. (120 Minutes)
- Maximum Marks – 150
NOTE: For the post of Assistant Teacher, Social Science (Men/Women Branch),
there shall be 04 sections in the main subject viz. Geography, History, Economics
and Civics comprising of 60 questions in each section. The candidates shall choose
any 02 sections out of the aforesaid 04 sections and answer them.
Application Fee :
(i). Unreserved / Other Backward Class – Exam fee Rs. 100/- + On-line processing fee
Rs. 25/- Total = Rs. 125/-
(ii).Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe – Exam fee Rs. 40/- + On-line processing fee
Rs. 25/- Total = Rs. 65/-
(iii). Handicapped – Exam fee NIL + On-line processing fee Rs. 25/- Total = Rs. 25/-
