This Tutorial is about how to register on TCS web portal. After several queries received by freshers we have decided to write a tutorial for TCS Registration Process. We have added both PDF as well as text version for this tutorial. Candidates may apply for as Direct Applicant (Off Campus) and Campus Applicant (On Campus). If TCS is not coming to your campus you can apply for Off Campus. You will require Adobe Flash Player 10 for accessing the portal or higher version. Final year students (2015 Batch) can register for TCS off campus drive. In June 2014, TCS has recruited more than 10 thousand students across India through off campus drive. TCS to organize upcoming off campus in September 2014.
To apply on TCS NextStep portal.
1.Click New Candidate to begin https://nextstep.tcs.com/
2. Select the relevant tab to proceed further.
- Campus Applicants
- Off Campus Applicants (Select Off Campus)
3. To initiate the TCS selection process, register on-line on the portal and fill the Application form.
Note: Please ensure that the information provided here is true and to the best of your knowledge. The information in the form serves as a permanent record for TCS. Any misinterpretation intentionally or otherwise, will debar you from the selection process.
4. Upload your recent digital passport size photograph in the Application form (.jpg, .jpeg format).
Note: The maximum size allowed is 500 KB.
5. Upload your updated resume in the supported format (.doc/.docx/.rtf/.txt).
Note: The maximum size allowed is 500 KB.
6. Submit the Application form.
7. Download the Application form in PDF format after you submit the form successfully. The PDF form contains a CT/DT Reference number.
Direct Applicants
Please take print out of the application form PDF in A4 size paper. Once you are batched for the TCS Selection Process, you can download the hall ticket from the NextStep Portal. You will need to carry the hard copy of the Application Form along with your resume and Hall Ticket for appearing in the TCS selection process. Please ensure that you print all pages of the application form
Note: If you are already registered then no need to register again. Off Campus Candidates will receive reference ID as DTXXXXXXX where as On Campus Candidates as CTXXXXXXX

I have registered with CT reference id starting with CT2013 but i am a student of 2015 leaving batch and a resident of vizag.I have received a mail stating “Logon to the NextStep Portal (https://nextstep.tcs.com/campus) with your DT Reference ID and Password”.But all the students of our college who have registered for TCS off campus have got a unique reference ID starting with DT.so is there any solution ??

I’ve registered for tcs drive.In registration form I’ve given the test center as chennai.Actually tirupati is near to me to travel.But my friends said if we keep tirupati as center by default some of them will be getting the center as hyderabad.So I kept like that.Later I’ve edited the center as tirupati in the application form.But know I’ve received the hall ticket from tcs where the center is given as in chennai.
Is there any chance to change it to tirupati.
