Tata Steel Limited has opened applications for the Aspiring Engineer Programme (AEP) – 2026 Batch for the position of Engineer Trainee across PAN India locations. This is a full-time 1-year training programme for 2025 pass-outs and 2026 graduating engineering students.

This Tata Steel Off Campus Drive 2026 is ideal for fresh engineering graduates looking for core engineering jobs in Operations, Mining, Maintenance, and Engineering & Projects. Selected candidates will be trained as Engineer Trainees and may be absorbed as Assistant Manager (IL6) after successful completion.

Role Overview

Selected candidates will undergo a 1-year structured training programme as Engineer Trainee. During the training period, candidates will be evaluated regularly.

On successful completion of training, candidates may be offered full-time employment as Assistant Manager (IL6) at Tata Steel.

Eligibility & Qualifications

Educational Qualification

• Full-time B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering (2025 pass-outs or 2026 final-year students)
• Diploma holders who directly joined 2nd year of engineering are eligible
• Must have completed AICTE/UGC approved full-time program

Marks Criteria

• General: Minimum 65% or 6.5 CGPA

Age Criteria (as on 1 January 2026)

• General: Maximum 30 years
• PwD / Transperson / SC / ST: Maximum 32 years

Emoluments & Benefits

• Stipend: ₹30,000 per month during 1-year training
• Medi-Claim coverage for self (₹2,50,000 hospitalization + ₹6,000 OPD per annum)
• Post training: CTC of ₹7.4 LPA upon appointment as Assistant Manager

• Interview (Virtual or In-Person)
