Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering and Research SAMEER www.sameer.gov.in is implementing a project “Development of Superconducting Magnet and Cryostat for MRI Scanner’ in collaboration with Inter University Accelerator Centre, New Delhi. SAMEER is looking for suitable persons for appointment as Research Scientist against the above project on consolidated salary. Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the post of Research Scientist to work on development of superconducting magnet and cryostat for MRI scanner under a R&D project funded by DeitY, Govt. of India sanction order no 1(15)/2014-ME&HI dates 16.12.2014. These are contract appointments and shall not confer any right for regularization / absorption or continuation of service in SAMEER. The selected candidates will be posted at Inter-University Accelerator Centre, New Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria :
Educational Qualification :
- M.Sc. (Physics) with minimum 55% marks OR
- B.Tech/M.Tech with first class in mechanical Engineering, , Cryogenic Engineering . Preference will be given to candidates having experience in cryogenics, superconducting magnets, and applied superconductivity etc
Age Limit : 28 years maximum
