About New Pattern of IBPS RRB Officers and Office Assistant Recruitment 2016-17 Across India :
Ministry of Finance has suggested new pattern for IBPS Regional Rural Bank RRB Officers and Office Assistant Recruitment 2016-17 Across India. It includes Two Tier Examination and discontinuation of Interviews for Junior Level posts ( Office Assistant & Office Attendant ).
New Pattern :
- Conduct of Interviews : No interview for Junior Level Posts ( Office Assistant & Office Attendant ).
- Local Language Proficiency : The RRBs will give a 6 month period , extendable to another 6 months to candidates of Officer Scale 1 and Office Assistant for taking the Language Screening Test. Candidates who have studied the language of the state in X std or above are exempted from any language screening.
- Marks for Test & Interviews : It would be in the ratio of 80 : 20. 80% from Online Test and 20% for Interviews. No minimum qualification marks for Interview.
- Two Tier Examination : Preliminary and Mains Examination. { Preliminary will be qualifying in nature } { Only for Officer Scale – 1 and Office Assistant }
- Age Limit : For Officers Scale – 1 , upper age limit shall be 30 years.
- Merit List : IBPS shall prepare State / UT – wise separate merit lists for filling up of vacancies in the RRBs of particular State/UT based on All India merit an available preference given by the candidate in the application form.
