About IBPS Recruitment 2020 – Clerical Cadre – Across India :

IBPS has invited online applications from eligible candidates for the post of Clerks at Public Sector Banks across India.  Tentative number of vacancies are 1557 and it may increase as many Banks did not report the vacancy figures.

Position : Clerk at PSB

Job Location : State chosen by the selected candidates

Salary : Pay scale of  Rs. 11765-655/3-13730-815/3- 16175-980/4-20095-1145/7-28110-2120/1-30230-1310/1-31540 (around 25k per month initially)

No. of Vacancies : 1557 Tentative no of posts.

Eligibility Criteria :

Age Limit (as on 1 September 2020) :

• Minimum: 20 years Maximum: 28 years i.e. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.09.1992 and not later than 01.09.2000 (both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualification :

• A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University
• Computer Knowledge
• Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable.

Selection Process :

Online Written Test in Two Phases – Preliminary and Main Examination. Only Main Examination scores will be taken into account while preparing the merit list.

Preliminary Examination (only qualifying)

1. English Language, No. of Questions : 30, Maximum Marks : 30, Time : 20 minutes
2. Numerical Ability, No. of Questions : 35, Maximum Marks : 35, Time : 20 minutes
3. Reasoning Ability, No. of Questions : 35, Maximum Marks : 35, Time : 20 minutes

Main Examination

1. General/ Financial Awareness, No. of Questions : 50, Maximum Marks : 50 , Time : 35 minutes
2. General English, No. of Questions : 40, Maximum Marks : 40, Time : 35 minutes
3. Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude , No. of Questions : 50, Maximum Marks : 60 , Time : 45 minutes
4. Quantitative Aptitude, No. of Questions : 50, Maximum Marks : 50, Time : 45 minutes

• Online Examination – Preliminary : 05.12.2020, 12.12.2020 and 13.12.2020
• Result of Online exam – Preliminary : 31.12.2020
• Online Examination – Main : 24.01.2021
• Provisional Allotment- 01.04.2021
