Role Overview
This role supports the application and quotation cycle for customer projects involving industrial products and systems. The engineer will connect customer requirements with suitable technical resolutions while coordinating with commercial, technical and manufacturing stakeholders.
- Understand requirements from internal and external customers for application-based projects.
- Propose suitable technical resolutions for customer applications.
- Support pre-sales activities for customers, business partners and distributors.
- Participate in pre-order and post-order technical meetings with sales, PMO, product management and business development teams.
- Coordinate the preparation and submission of customer offers.
- Review project requirements and obtain clarifications or approvals before an offer is submitted.
- Maintain accurate and regular updates in the Customer Relationship Management system.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- BE/BTech graduate in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
- The position is based in Pune and follows a hybrid work arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Submit quality offers on time in coordination with Business Development Managers, internal and external sales teams, the Legal team, PMO and factory PSQ teams.
- Provide technical support during the pre-sales and post-order stages.
- Attend technical discussions and help resolve application-related questions.
- Ensure that offer submissions follow the Delegation of Authority process.
- Coordinate with relevant collaborators to verify project requirements before final submission.
- Manage competing priorities while handling customer, sales and internal team requirements.
