eLitmus Syllabus And Question Paper Pattern 2021

Students who are new to the concept of eLitmus test and pattern of question paper can follow this tutorial helpfull. eLitmus employability test is very useful for the freshers as well as for experienced professionals who are seeking a job in IT sector. There are many companies hiring for multiple positions like Associate Software Engineer, System Engineer, Android or IOS Developers, Desktop Support etc roles with good packages. Students are also advised to check other Employment exams like AMCAT or CoCubes.

eLitmus ph test Result :

pH scores are declared in your eLitmus account within 18 days of your pH test date. Usually, the result comes within a week, but sometimes it may take up to 2 weeks! Candidates who are not satisfied with their pH score or marks can take re-take the exam to score high. Candidates with good pH score are more likely to get call letters from many IT companies.

Tips to score more marks in eLitmus test paper:

Each section in the question paper carries 20 questions from the module. If you are planning to attend all 20 questions in quant that won’t help you in this case. As scoring depends on the number of correct answers (Calculated based on percentile) rather than attempting all questions due to negative marking scheme in the exam. Students who are preparing for eLitmus must not attend all 20 questions. Attending 10 questions in enough to get 90 and above percentile if you correct 8 questions. Same Applied for Problem Solving sections where you need you to attend at least 8 questions. Do not touch any question you are not aware of it. In Verbal Section if you attend 12 questions correctly you will get 90 percentile and above but it is advised to attend more number of questions in the verbal section. Negative markings are section wise not for the complete test.

How Companies in eLitmus Hiring :

There are many big companies like Accenture, Intel, MAQ Software etc hiring through eLitmus pH test score but few companies see the sectional cut off and few companies see the overall cutoff. So if you are not happy with your current pH score then you must take re-test.

Is the calculator allowed for eLitmus pH test?

No. Any kind of gadgets is strictly prohibited in the exam.

There are 3 Sections of an eLitmus pH Test Paper and each section contains 20 Questions.

Books To Refer to eLitmus Test Preparation:

There is no separate textbook for this exam. But students can refer Quantitative Aptitude By Arun Sharma, R S Agarwal.

eLitmus Negative marking scheme:

If you do more than 25% questions wrong of the total attempt then for the rest of every wrong answer half mark will be deducted. If you attempt more than 1/4th of total questions wrong then you get negative marking, for example: if you attend 12 questions, 1/4th of 12 is 4, so if you attempt 9 right and 3 wrong then u have no negative markings but if you attend 8 right and 4 wrong then negative marking will be there for that 4th question but not for the other 3. Negative markings are section wise not for the complete test.

eLitmus Test is beneficial for All department students CSC, IT, ECE, EEE, E&I, and even for civil and Mechanical Engineering students too etc. There are no basic questions from Electrical/Electronics department. Elitmus Aptitude Question Paper is neither tough nor easy.

    Verbal :75.00–79.83%ile
    Problem Solving :37.50–83.48%ile
    Quantitative :48.80–91.09%ile
    but my btech % is below 60 can i expect any calls from good companies ??

  18. I have done B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering (2015 pass out). Is it useful to give this test…? How many core mechanical domain companies are hiring through this platform?

    • Accenture and Mindtree are some of the biggest mass recruiter in eLitmus.But most of the companies are hiring very low percentage of candidates and it is very competitive to get the job in non mass recruiting companies.

    • if you’re 2016 passed out then Yes it would be beneficial. But score good in pH test. (atleast 70 percentile in all section and more than 80 percentile in Quant and Logic )
