Download Admit Card & Paper Pattern for DRDO Entry Test ( Tier 1 Exam ) CEPTAM 08  :

Admit Card is now ready to be downloaded for DRDO Entry Test (referred as Tier 1 Exam) through CEPTAM 08 on 17 July 2016 across India. Now the selection process is changed , Interview will no longer be held as per government directive and Tier 2 Exam will be held for shortlisted candidates from Tier 1 Exam. DRDO invited online applications in the earlier month of 2016 (Employment News Dated 16-22 January 2016) for 1142 vacancies through CEPTAM 08 in various pay bands.

Scheme of Examination for Tier -1 Exam :

1. For STA ‘B’ & Technician ‘A’ : The written test will consist of (i) 50 questions on General Awareness, General Intelligence, Reasoning Ability, General Science and (ii) 100 Questions on Subject concerned.
2. For Junior Translator: The written test will consist of (i) 50 Questions on General Awareness, General Intelligence, Reasoning & Numerical Ability and (ii) 50 Questions each on Hindi and English Language.
3. For Stenographer Grade II, Admin Assistant ‘A’ & Store Assistant ‘A’ : The written examination will consist of (i) 50 questions on General Awareness, General Intelligence, Reasoning & Numerical Ability (ii) 50 questions on General English and (iii) 50 Questions on Hindi OR English language.
4. For Vehicle Operator ‘A’& Asstt. Halwai-cum-Cook: The written test will consist of (i) 100 Questions on General Awareness, General Reasoning, Arithmetic, Numerical Ability (ii) 25 Questions on General English (iii) 25 Questions related to Job.

Changes in the Pattern After Tier -1 Exam :

1. As per Government directive , Interviews will not be held for these posts.
2. Qualifying Criteria ( For Tier – 2 Exam ) : Tier 2 Examination will be held for those candidates who qualify in written examination of CEPTAM-08 DRDO Entry Test to be held on 17 July 2016 ( referred as Tier 1 Exam). Candidate will be further shortlisted for Tier – 2 Examination in a ratio of 1:6 for STA ‘B’ and Junior Translator and 1:8 for all other post codes where Skill / Trade test are mandatory.
3. Exam Cities (for Tier – 2 Exam) : 5-6 Major cities ( depends on no of shortlisted candidates)
4. Date of Examination for Tier – 2 Exam : Will be published on website later. The exact date , venue and time will be communicated by admit card.
5. Scheme of Examination for Tier – 2 :
   1. The Tier – 2 Examination will be OMR based of 60 Questions and 1 Hour Duration
   2. For STA ‘B’ & Technician ‘A’ : (i) 10 Questions on Knowledge about common Scientific / Technological Advancement & current affairs (ii) 50 Questions on Subject concerned.
   3. For Junior Translator: (i) 10 Questions on General Awareness & current affairs (ii) 25 Questions each on English & Hindi.
   4. For Stenographer Grade II, Admin Assistant ‘A’ & Store Assistant ‘A’ :  (i) 10 Questions on General Awareness & current affairs (ii) 25 Questions on General English (iii) 25 Questions on English OR Hindi language.
   5. For Vehicle Operator ‘A’& Asstt. Halwai-cum-Cook:  (i) 10 Questions on General Awareness & current affairs (ii) 25 Questions on General English (iii) 25 Questions related to Job.

Mode of Selection (After Tier 2 Exam ) : Tier 1 + Tier 2 ( taken together in the ratio of 85% and 15% respectively ).
