The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi cbse.nic.in will be conducting the 8th Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) www.ctet.nic.in on 20.09.2015 (Sunday) for candidates to be eligible for appointment as teacher for Class I to VIII. Candidates can apply On-line for CTET-SEPT 2015 through CTET official website – www.ctet.nic.in only. The submission of online application starts from 30 July 2015 to 19 August 2015. The Admit card can be downloaded from 4 September 2015 onwards.
Please note that qualifying the CTET would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.

Eligibility Criteria :
Educational Qualifications :
A) Teacher for Classes I-V (Primary Stage) :
(1) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). [OR]
(2) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. [OR]
(3) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). [OR]
(4) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education). [OR]
(5) Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
B) Teacher for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage) :
(1) Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). [OR]
(2) Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). [OR]
(3) Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. [OR]
(4) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). [OR]
(5) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed. [OR]
(6) Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

Pattern Of Examination :
The CTET examination will be of objective type Multiple Choice Question (MCQs). There will be no negative marking.
There will be 2 papers of CTET. (i)
Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V. (ii) Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
Application Fee:
The Mode of Payment is Remittance through E-Challan by depositing the prescribed fee in CTET Exam Fee Account with Syndicate Bank or HDFC Bank (OR) By Debit/Credit Card.
