The approximately 480 vacancies include 19 vacancies for PwBD candidates: 11 vacancies for Locomotor Disability including Leprosy cured, Dwarfism, Acid Attack victims and Muscular Dystrophy; 06 vacancies for Hard of Hearing; 01 vacancy for Low Vision; and 01 vacancy for SLD and MD. The number of vacancies is liable to alteration.
Eligibility Criteria
A candidate for this examination must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on the 1st January, 2027. The candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd January, 1997 and not later than 1st January, 2006.

Candidates belonging to SC/ST or OBC who are also covered under the Ex-servicemen or PwBD categories may be eligible for cumulative relaxation under both categories, subject to the applicable rules. Candidates seeking reservation or relaxation benefits must possess the requisite certificates in the prescribed format by the closing date of the application.

- OBC/EWS candidates: No fee exemption is available and they are required to pay the prescribed fee in full.
The fee can be paid through the net banking facility of any bank or by using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card/UPI Payment. Payment through any other mode is not valid or acceptable.

Recruitment to the listed services and posts will be made on the basis of the scheme of examination prescribed in the official notification. The examination includes negative marking for wrong answers in the Objective Type Question Papers.

How to Apply
- Visit the UPSC online application portal (upsconline.nic.in).
- Create an account and generate the Universal Registration Number (URN).
- Complete the Common Application Form (CAF) and the Examination Specific Module.
- Enter details and upload the required documents, including the photograph, live photograph, signature, age certificate, educational qualification certificate and applicable category or concession certificates.
- Choose the examination centre and engineering discipline carefully.
- Pay the application fee through the permitted payment mode, wherever applicable.
- Submit the application before 06.10.2026 till 06:00 P. M. and retain the URN and Application Number for future communication.
- Read the instructions in the official notification before completing the application. No hard copy or printout of the application is required to be submitted to the Commission.
