Eligibility Criteria
Only Indian Nationals who have attained the age of 18 years and above are eligible to apply. The crucial date for determining the upper age limit, educational qualifications, certificates/testimonials and category shall be 12.10.2026, inclusive of the date. The upper age limit is relaxable as per Government of India norms, and reservation/age relaxation is applicable for the reserved posts only as per GoI norms.
- Engineering Officer Grade 1 (Electrical): First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Valid GATE Score of the year 2024/2025/2026. GATE paper subject: Electrical Engineering. Age limit: 30 years.
- Engineering Officer Grade 1 (Civil): First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university in Civil Engineering. Valid GATE Score of the year 2024/2025/2026. GATE paper subject: Civil Engineering. Age limit: 30 years.
- Scientific Assistant: First Class B. Sc. in Chemistry from a recognized University with 5 years of experience in the relevant subject field. Age limit: 35 years.
- Engineering Assistant (Electrical): First Class 3 year Diploma in Engineering / Technology in Electrical with 5 years of experience in relevant field. Age limit: 35 years.
- Engineering Assistant (Mechanical): First Class 3 year Diploma in Engineering / Technology in Mechanical with 5 years of experience in relevant field. Age limit: 35 years.
- Technician Grade 1 (Electrical): ITI Trade Certificate in Electrical. Age limit: 28 years.

- Technical Attendant Grade 1: Matriculation or equivalent pass from a recognized Board. Desirable: Industrial Training Institute(ITI) Trade Certificate of course of duration of two years in the disciplines of Electrical/Mechanical. Age limit: 30 years.
- Assistant Grade II: First Class BA/BSc./B. Com/BBA/BBM/BCA degree from a recognized university and minimum Grade-B certificate in Basic Computer Course (BCC) conducted by National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) on the closing date of recruitment application. Age limit: 30 years.
- Multi-Tasking Staff Grade 1 (Watch & Ward Duties): Matriculation or equivalent pass from a recognized Board. All posts reserved for Ex-servicemen. Age limit: 25 years.

- Bank Transaction charges/processing fees, if any, incurred for online payment of application fees shall be borne by the candidate.
Selection Process
- Engineering Officer Gr.1 (Electrical/Civil): The selection will be based on GATE score.
- Engineering Assistant (Electrical/Mechanical): Computer Based Test (CBT) and job-specific practical skill test.
- Scientific Assistant: Computer Based Test (CBT) and job-specific practical skill test.
- Technician Gr.1 (Electrical/Mechanical): Computer Based Test (CBT). The candidates will also have to Qualify a Trade Test.
- Technical Attendant Gr.1: Computer Based Test (CBT).
- Assistant Gr. II: Computer Based Test (CBT).

How to Apply
- Visit the CPRI online registration system and register using a valid self e-mail ID and mobile number.
- Keep a recent passport-size colour photograph and scanned signature ready. The photograph must not be more than three months old, and the signature must be in black ink against a white background.
- Fill in the online application carefully and select the post and category correctly. Candidates applying for more than one post must submit a separate online application for each post.
- Upload the scanned certificates and documents specified in the official notification, including educational, experience, category, NOC and Ex-servicemen documents, wherever applicable.
- Pay the prescribed application fee through online payment, unless exempted.
- Check that all information and uploaded documents are correct, submit the application and take a printout of the submitted application form for future reference.
