Position : Group A/B Engineers at Central Govt Organisations
Salary : Group A – Level 10 of 7th Pay CPC Pay Matrix {Rs 56100/- per month initially plus allowances} and Group B – Level 8 of 7th Pay CPC {Rs 47600/- per month initially plus allowances. Click Here to know about 7th Pay CPC
Engineering Departments (anyone can apply to any of the following deparment, degree in the following branches is not mandatory) :
Category I‐Civil Engineering.
Category II‐Mechanical Engineering.
Category III‐Electrical Engineering.
Category IV‐Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
Eligibility Criteria :
- Age Limit : A candidate for this examination must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on the 1st August, 2018 i.e., he/she must have been born not earlier than 2ndAugust, 1988 and not later than 1st August, 1997. Relaxable for reserved and ex-servicemen.
- Educational Qualification : Degree in Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University/Institution
- Physically and Medically Fit as per the standards
Selection Process :
- Preliminary Examination – 500 Marks (Objective Type Questions. Only Qualifying. Not to be considered for merit)

For eligibility criteria: 3rd point they mentioned physically and medically fit, now my doubt is am wearing specs for eye problem. am eligible or not
