Role Overview
The Associate Data Scientist will be a core contributor to TriNet’s Enterprise Data & Analytics team. The role is designed for candidates who can execute well-defined analytical and machine learning tasks while following established workflows, technical standards and validation processes.
- Develop, test and implement statistical and machine learning models with guidance from senior team members.
- Apply regression, classification, clustering and forecasting techniques to defined problem statements.
- Prepare data for modelling through cleaning, transformation and exploratory analysis.
- Support hypothesis testing, feature engineering and structured analytical work.
- Validate model performance using standard metrics and evaluation techniques.
- Work with structured and unstructured data, including NLP and LLM-based techniques.
- Support experimentation through prompt execution, output validation and model testing.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 0–1 year of experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Academic or internship experience in analytics or data science is a plus.
- Candidates must be prepared to work 100% in the office in Hyderabad.
