Eligibility Criteria :
- B Tech or M Tech or MCA in Computer Science
- Strong C programming skills
- Knowledge in Relational Databases (RDBMS) and SQL desirable
- Excellent problem solving and strong debugging skills
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and support database software infrastructure for database internals
- Aptitude for understanding database applications from the functional and technical perspective
- Use existing source control, defect reporting, code design and document review processes and tools
Key Competencies/Skills:
- Strong programming skills with C in Linux and Windows O/S
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technology
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow documented specifications and plans with minimal supervision
- Experience writing software that employs a relational database API
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Works well in a team environment
- The following skills are desirable but not must: SQL
Job Summary:
Responsible for development & support of software for Teradata DBS. Understand the design and participate in code, test, and documentation of major software components according to a standard development process. Projects will consist of multiple team members and the candidate will be expected to work closely with Technical Lead, & other team members as well as other supporting groups, like testing.
