About SBI PO 2016-17 Recruitment Prelim Result & Main Examination Admit Card Download :

State Bank of India SBI – www.sbi.co.in – conducted preliminary examination for the 2200 posts of Probationary Officers across India on 2, 3, 9 and 10 July 2016. Results of Preliminary examination has been announced and successful candidates can now download admit card for Main Examination which is scheduled to be held on 31 July 2016. Marks for Preliminary examination will be available shortly for all the candidates who had attended the examination.

Main Examination Paper Pattern :

1) Objective Test : The Objective Test of 3 hours duration consists of 4 Sections (Total 200 marks) as follows :

The candidates are required to qualify in each of the tests by securing passing marks, to be decided by the Bank. There will be negative marking of 1/4th of the marks contain by the particular question.

2) Descriptive Test :  The Descriptive Test of 1 hour duration with 50 marks will be test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay). The candidates are required to qualify in the Descriptive Test by securing passing marks, to be decided by the Bank.

Important Note : Descriptive Test paper of only those candidates will be evaluated who have scored qualifying marks in the Objective Tests and are placed adequately high as per total marks in objective test.
