About NTPC Recruitment (GATE 2015):
NTPC Limited (formerly known as National Thermal Power Corporation Limited) is a Central Public Sector Undertaking (CPSU) under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, engaged in the business of generation of electricity and allied activities.
NTPC Ltd has announced the recruitment of Engineering Executive Trainees (ET) in the disciplines of Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Electronics Engineering through GATE 2015. Candidates wishing to apply for the positions have to register for GATE and then apply during the specified dates using the GATE 2015 Registration Number. Only GATE 2015 qualified candidates will be shortlisted for selection.
Salary: Rs. 24,900-50,500/-

- Electrical : 40 Posts
- Mechanical : 60 Posts
- Instrumentation : 10 Posts
- Electronics : 10 Posts
Eligibility Criteria:
- Full time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology/AMIE with not less time 65%marks
- Final year/semester students are also eligible however they have to obtain at least 65% marks
Selection Process :
All eligible candidates are required to appear for GATE-2015. Candidates will be short listed for Group Discussion and Personal Interview based on the GATE-2015 performance and the requirement.

GATE 2015 Examination Score:
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineers (GATE) 2015 Score of candidates in the concerned disciplines. The Graduate Engineers from the relevant disciplines mentioned in the Qualifying Requirements, who are desirous of taking up a career with NTPC are required to write GATE 2015 examination in the same disciplines.
