   177500)
2. Scientific/Technical Assistant ‘A’ -> Pay Scale in Level 6 of Pay Matrix of 7th CPC (Rs.35400- 112400)

2. Scientific/Technical Assistant ‘A’ -> Total=259 (UR = 133,SC=38,ST=19,OBC=69)

Eligibility Criteria :

Scientist ‘B’ Group A :-

Age Limit : Upto 30 Years as on closing date (28 Aug 2017)

Educational Qualification (as on 28 Aug 2017) : minimum 60% marks in aggregate or First Class from a University/Institution

BE/ B.Tech. in Computer Science or Computer Engg
OR
BE/ B.Tech. in Information Technology
OR
BE/ B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication
OR
BE/ B.Tech. in Electronics & Telecommunication
OR
M.Sc. (Physics) with one year of relevant experience
OR
M. Sc. (Electronics /Applied Electronics) with one year of
relevant experience

Selection Process : Written followed by Interview {The final selection of eligible candidates for appointment to the post of Scientist-‘B’ will be based on the combined performance of the candidates both in the written examination and in interview. The weight-age of marks for written examination and interview will be in the ratio of 85:15. It is mandatory to appear in the interview for selection. }

Educational Qualification :  minimum 60% marks in aggregate or First Class from a University/Institution

mentioned fields:

Scheme of Written Examination :

1. The Written Examination shall be Objective type and OMR based.
2. There will be total of 120 objective type Questions consisting of 60 questions from Computer Science and 60 questions on Generic Area. The Generic Area will comprise of Logical, Analytical Reasoning Capabilities, Quantitative and Qualitative abilities and General Awareness and Aptitude.
3. Every Question will carry 1 (one) mark and there will be negative marking of 0.25 mark for each wrong answer.
