National Insurance Company Ltd. invites applications for recruitment of 362 (Three Sixty Two) vacancies for Officers (170 as Specialist and 192 as Generalist) in Scale I cadre across India. NICL recruiting candidates from IT/CS discipline as IT Officers, Chartered Accountant/ B.Com from Finance discipline as Finance Officers, Law Graduates as Legal Officers, Automobile Engineering Graduates as Automobile Engineer and Bachelor’s Degree Holder as Generalist. Tentative Date of online examination will be on April 2015. Online applications are open from 05th Jan 2015 to 24th Jan 2015.

Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification (as on 30.11.2014)
Candidate should possess certificate in proof of passing the qualifying examination as on 30.11.2014.
For Generalist Stream, a candidate must possess the minimum qualification of a Degree in any discipline from a recognized University OR any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Central Government.
For Specialist Stream a candidate must possess the minimum qualification of Degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized University OR any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Central Government.
The minimum Educational Qualifications required for various disciplines are:
- Finance Chartered Accountant (ICAI) / Cost Accountant (ICWA)/ M.COM/ B.COM\
- Automobile Engineering B.E./B.Tech. in Automobile Engineering
- Information Technology B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology
- Legal Graduate in Law.
- Generalist Graduate in any stream.
Age Limit : Minimum Age: 21 years and Maximum Age: 30 years (as on 30.11.2014))
Selection Procedure:
The final selection will be made on the basis of overall performance in Online Examination and Interview.
