Role Overview
This role sits within a research-oriented team exploring AI and vision technology. The engineer will work on problems where the solution is not already defined, moving from research and experimentation to practical prototypes that may support future products and customer requirements.
- Investigate challenging problems in artificial intelligence and computer vision.
- Turn research ideas into working proofs of concept and experiments.
- Use modern AI tools and frameworks to speed up research, prototyping, and problem-solving.
- Track developments in AI, computer vision, and machine learning and identify relevant ideas for the team.

Eligibility & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a top-tier engineering institute.
- 0–3 years of experience; fresh graduates with strong research aptitude are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to solve unsolved problems and research or experiment using first principles.
- Comfort with ambiguity, self-driven working, and motivation to solve difficult, open-ended problems.
- An AI-first approach, including the ability to use AI tools to learn, prototype, and solve problems more effectively.

Key Responsibilities
- Research and evaluate different approaches to open-ended AI and vision problems.
- Design experiments and assess the performance and usefulness of proposed approaches.
- Develop experimental systems and proofs of concept from research concepts.
- Apply AI-assisted workflows to accelerate research and prototype development.
- Read and follow relevant developments in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and computer vision.
- Collaborate with product and other cross-functional teams on practical use cases.
- Document findings, communicate learnings, and contribute to the team’s research direction.
Skills Required
- Strong programming fundamentals, with Python preferred.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and mathematical foundations.
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts and frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Exposure to computer vision, including image processing, object or pattern recognition, and OCR.
- Hands-on familiarity with modern AI tools, large language models, or AI-assisted development workflows.
- Experience with AI-assisted testing using tools such as Claude, Cursor, or Codex for test-case generation and automation scripting.
- Research experience through publications, thesis work, competitions such as Kaggle, or notable projects.
- Ability to build prototypes or experimental systems end to end.
