Eligibility Criteria :

  1. 2015 batch of B.E/B.Tech belonging to CSE / IT / ECE / EEE / EIE / E&E / Applied Electronics / Computer & Technology / Electrical / ETE / ICE / Software Engineering (Full time only/ Regular courses only)
  2. Consistent academic record of a minimum 60% (without rounding off, considering all subjects) in Std X, Std XII or Diploma (if applicable)
  3. Academic record (considering all subjects)
    1. Min 65% in UG (for Universities in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, Pondicherry & Tamil Nadu)
    2. Min 60% in UG (for Universities in Other States except Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, Pondicherry & Tamil Nadu.
  4. No standing arrears at the time of test/interview process
  5. Recent education provisional certificate and Consolidated (or) all Semester wise mark sheets is mandatory during interview process
  6. Open only to Indian nationals
  7. Strong written and oral communication skills
  8. Note: CGPA to equivalent Percentage conversion to be done as per respective University norms

    Is is necessary those who will not given amcat can not apply or cognizant will take amcat.

    The test has 3 basic requirements:
    A Personal Computer / Laptop.A Webcam connected with the SystemSmooth and uninterrupted Internet connectivity (throughout the testing session, which will last for approximately 2 Hours)You may take the test as per your convenience at your home, a nearby cyber-cafe etc. We are mentioning below the URL/Link, USERNAME and PASSWORD that you are required to use to log into the test. Please note that below test login credentials are valid till 25th March, 2016.

    We would like to reiterate that you must take the test on a computer with webcam and dedicated/ smooth Internet connectivity. If your test gets stuck at any point, there is a ‘Resume Test’ option that will enable you to restart the test at the same place where you got stuck.     4. Select the check box “I have read & agree to the terms and conditions and wish to continue the test”
    5. Click on Start New Test and fill the registration form.In the. registration form fill the “Cognizant Candidate ID” as xyz.
    For Semester wise Percentage, fill your aggregate %age in each semester if semester wise percentage not available

    6. Click on Start Test. A 14 digit number will appear. This is your AMCAT ID. Note it and keep it safe with you.
    7. To answer a question click on Confirm and then Next to submit your answer.

    IMPORTANT NOTE: You are not allowed to open any other Browser / Switch between the Test Screen and other windows/ Minimize the Test Window. The Test will get locked permanently if a candidate is found switching through windows while taking the Test.

  15. I had applied without scores on 19th march and so did few of my friends but did not recieve any such mail for online test? Are they done taking test on 25th only? or there will be another round for those who applied on or after 19th march?

  49. I gave this online test on 24th but did not get any response, rejected maybe. Just today I’ve got this link for online test on another id. Can I give it again? Will there be any problem?
    I cant see in their job desciption that those who have already appeared within 3 or 6 months are not eligible. Does that mean, I can retry?

  50. Can I retake aptitude online test through amcat within 2 months of time since they have not specified time limit anywhere and I did not appear for any interview earlier. Is it possible?
