About Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) 2015:
Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) carries out recruitment of Group C staff for Allahabad, Lucknow and Moradabad divisions of Northern Railway, and for Diesel locomotive Works, Varanasi. Recently the RRB was also assigned the added responsibility of recruitment of Group D staff which was earlier the prerogative of the zonal railways.
Indian Railways Recruitment for post of 2239 Junior Engineers group And Section Engineers group Across India. Eligible candidates will be called for a written examination with call letters being sent a month in advance of the date of the examination. The candidates who qualify in the preliminary exam are called for the main written exam, and the merit list is prepared based entirely upon the result of the main exam.
ONLINE applications are invited from eligible Indian Nationals for the following posts of Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant, Senior Section Engineer and Chief Depot Material Superintendent. Applications complete in all respects should be submitted only ONLINE to the Railway Recruitment Board till 23.59 hrs of closing date 26th July 2015.

Education Qualification:
Candidates should have requisite Educational/Technical qualifications (as indicated in the vacancy table) from recognized Board/University /Institute as on the date of submission of the ONLINE application for this Centralized Employment Notice.
Those awaiting results of the final examination need NOT apply. Candidates who have obtained diploma/degree through distance mode (except AMIETE & AMIE) are not eligible to apply.
Age Limit (As on 01.07.2015) : Minimum 18 & Maximum 34 Years
Application Fees:
- No examination fee for candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen / Women/ Minorities/ Persons with Disabilities/Economically backward classes.
- For UR/OBC male candidates examination fee is Rs.100/-
- Online Mode Payment Starts from 30th June 2015
RRB Selection Process:
Selection is made strictly as per merit, on the basis of ONLINE (Computer Based) examination. Railway Recruitment Board Online Examination is scheduled to be held between 22 August 2015 and 5 Sepetember 2015.
NEGATIVE MARKING: There shall be penalty (negative marking) in written examination and marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer @ 1/3 of the marks allotted for each question.
RRB Call Letter/Admit Card 2015:
The e-call letter to the eligible candidates shall be available TWO weeks before commencement of the ONLINE examination on the website of RRB concerned for downloading.

How To Apply:
Candidates are required to apply ONLINE for SSE and/or JE group, depending upon their eligibility, on the website of Railway Recruitment Board (RRB). Candidates are required to apply only through ONLINE mode. No other mode for submission of application is allowed.
Application to more than one RRB for the same group will lead to rejection of all the applications for that group.

Answer : Yes , you can apply both JE and SSE group but not the same rrb for same group.

There was no option for Degree in computer science and engineering. Can they apply under Degree in Information Technology?
may be the vacancy is not available in your RRB region, B.Tech(CS) option is provided. Although you can select “Degree in a Combination of any substream of basic streams of Information Technology Engineering”

RRB Chennai is showing BTech(CS) But you can apply as “Degree in a Combination of any substream of basic streams of Information Technology Engineering” in any RRB for the post Sr No. 18 to 23 . Please refer to the advertisement link given in the post at the end.

Exam centre will be allocated anywhere in India. The centre allocation will be in the jurisdiction of the RRB applied to (OR) near to the city/place mentioned in the address for communication. This will depend upon the capacity available at various centres.
