Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination (I) is the recruitment process of induction into all three wings of defence services in India. It is compulsory to have graduation degree for this post. Eligibility Criteria:
The CDS is meant only to be registered by the graduates, for these the eligibility criteria is as under:-
For Naval Academy:
- Qualification: Degree in Engineering from a recognized university/ institute.
- Age limit: The age should be between 19 to 24 years.
For Air Force Academy:
- Qualification: Degree of recognized university (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 Level) or Bachelor’s of Engineering.
- Age: The candidates should have the age between 19 to 24 years.
For Indian Military Academy/ Officers Training Academy
- Qualification: To apply for this course, the candidates required a graduation degree/bachelor degree in any subject.
- Age: The age should be between 19 to 25 years.
Note: Candidates who are studying in the final year/ semester Degree course and have yet to pass the final year degree examination can also apply provided candidate should not have any present backlog upto the last semester/year for which results have been declared upto the time of submission of application and they will be required to submit proof of passing the degree examination at the time of SSB to reach the Army HQ/Rtg. CDSE Entry, West Block III, R.K. Puram, New
Physical Standard: The candidates should also fit according to the norms fixed by the commission. The admission is only possible if the candidates physically fit.

Examination Date: 15 February 2015 (Sunday)
Application Fee:
The application fee is Rs 200 Only for General and OBC candidates whereas SC/ST/Female candidates need not to pay any application fee. Eligible candidates can submit the application fee through the net-banking or through cash.
Selection Procedure:
Eligible candidates will selected on evaluating candidate’s performance in the written examination and Interview/Personality Test. Candidates who qualify the written exam will be called for the next round of recruitment process, i.e. Interview/ Personality Test.
