Role Overview
As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to ServiceNow products by writing reusable code, building new features and improving existing functionality. The role combines core software engineering with the development of intelligent, context-aware experiences for users.
- Build clean, high-quality, scalable and reusable software using established engineering practices.
- Design and build AI-powered product features using LLMs, machine learning and agentic capabilities.
- Work with product owners to understand detailed requirements and take ownership of implementation through delivery.
- Develop simple software that allows customers to extend and customise product functionality.
- Contribute to new products and features while enhancing the existing product suite.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- 0–2+ years of experience with Java or a similar object-oriented programming language.
- Experience leveraging AI or critically thinking about how AI can be integrated into work processes, decision-making or problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities
- Follow software engineering architecture and process best practices, including code reviews and unit testing.

Skills Required
- Java or another similar object-oriented programming language.
