SPECIAL CLASS RAILWAY APPRENTICES EXAMINATION (SCRA)2015 :
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited online applications for selection of candidates for appointment as Special Class Railway Apprentices (SCRA) in Mechanical Engineering Department of Indian Railways. There are more than 40 examination test centers for across India. There are 42 vacancies to be filled throughout the whole process.
The Eligible candidates can apply for SCRA recruitment on or before 7th November 2014. The Online Application consists of 2 parts (Part I and Part II). Applicants need to fill both the sections.
The online application (Part I and Part II) can be filled from 11th October 2014 to 7th November 2014.

Eligibility Criteria:
- The candidates must have passed in the first or second division, the Intermediate or an equivalent Examination of a university or Board approved by the Government of India with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination.
- Graduates with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as their degree subjects may also apply.
Exam Paper Pattern & Syllabus For SCRA 2015:
Section I :
Part I Written Examination carrying a maximum of 600 marks in the subjects as shown below
Part II Personality Test carrying a maximum of 200 marks in respect of only those who are declared the qualified in written examination.
Paper 1: General Ability Test (English, General Knowledge & Psychological Test)
Paper 2: Physical SCience (Physica & Science)
Paper 3: Mathematics
Section II:
English : The question will be designed to test the candidates understanding and command of the language.
