Role Overview
The Analyst II, Engineering will support the development of AI-driven systems that combine machine learning, generative AI, backend services and operational data. The position is designed for candidates building their foundation in AI engineering while contributing to systems intended for real-world use.
- Develop AI-driven systems, intelligent agents and data workflows.
- Maintain AI pipelines covering data preparation, model experimentation and evaluation.
- Build and support backend APIs, services and workflows using Python or similar languages.
- Contribute to LLM-based systems, generative AI solutions, prompt-driven workflows and automation use cases.
- Work with behavioural and operational data pipelines to generate insights for AI applications.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams on requirements, design and architecture discussions.
- Participate in documentation, testing and continuous improvement of AI and backend services.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Recent graduates or candidates with 0–2 years of experience can apply.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Engineering or a related technical discipline is required.
- Candidates should have a strong academic foundation in programming, mathematics, statistics or data-related subjects.
- Commitment to self-learning through projects, coursework, internships, hackathons or online platforms is expected.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain AI pipelines, including preparing data and evaluating models.
- Create backend services, APIs and scripts that support AI-driven workflows.
- Build applications and automation workflows using LLMs and generative AI where applicable.
- Understand product requirements and contribute to technical design and architecture discussions.
- Work with structured and unstructured behavioural or operational data.
- Document systems, support testing and identify improvements to AI and backend services.
- Coordinate with product and engineering teams to deliver assigned work.
Skills Required
- Programming experience in Python or similar languages, including building services or scripts.
- Understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning, model evaluation, overfitting, regularisation and basic feature engineering.
- Basic SQL knowledge and familiarity with structured and unstructured data.
- Understanding of backend development concepts, REST APIs and data handling.
- Exposure to GenAI tools and LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini or similar is an advantage.
- Exposure to AWS or Azure compute, storage or AI services is an advantage.
- Awareness of full-stack concepts, including frontend, backend and APIs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Curiosity about how AI systems work from end to end.
- Clear communication and the ability to explain ideas logically.
- Ownership of assigned tasks, openness to feedback and commitment to continuous improvement.
