About IBPS Recruitment of RRB Officers and Assistant 2020 – Across India:
IBPS (ibps.in) has invited online applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Officers and Assistants at Regional Rural Banks across India.
IBPS RRB notification is out for 2020 recruitment for Group “A”-Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group “B”-Office Assistant (Multipurpose). Candidates can apply online for 9681 job vacancies across India. IBPS RRB exam syllabus, exam dates, admit, result and other details will be updated on this page.
IBPS is inviting online application for the post of Officer & Assistant at Regional Rural Banks across India through Common Written Examination CWE-IX. IBPS is going to recruit around 9681 candidates for various bank jobs posts through IBPS RRB Recruitment 2020.
Eligibility Criteria For IBPS RRB :
Name of Post and Education Qualification : (As on 21 July 2020)
Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager):
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent
Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy; - Proficiency in local language as prescribed by the participating RRBs
- Desirable: working knowledge of Computer.
Office Assistant: (Multipurpose)
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent
- Proficiency in local language as prescribed by the participating RRBs
- Desirable: Working knowledge of Computer
Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer) :
- Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate
- Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.
- Experience : Two years as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution
Officer Scale-II (Specialist Officer) :
Information Technology Officer:
- Degree from a recognised University in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate
- Desirable : Certificate in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP etc.
- Experience : One year
Chartered Accountant :
- Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
- Experience : One year
Law Officer :
- Degree from a recognised University in Law or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
- Experience : Two years as an advocate or should have worked as Law Officer in Banks or Financial Institutions for a period not less than two years
Treasury Manager :
- Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or MBA in Finance from a recognized university/ institution.
- Experience : One year
Marketing Officer :
- MBA in Marketing from a recognized university.
- Experience : One year
Agricultural Officer :
- Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture from a recognized university or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
- Experience : Two Years
Note : All educational qualifications should be from a recognised university/ Board
Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager):
- Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
- Preference will be given to the candidates having Degree/ Diploma in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Co-operation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.
- Experience : Minimum 5 years experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institutions

Selection Process :
- Prelim examination for Officer Scale -1 and Office Assistant
- Single examination for Officer Scale – 2 and Officer Scale -3
- Main Examination for Officer Scale-1 and Office Assistant for candidates clearing prelim rounds
- Interview for Officer Scale – 1 ,2 and 3
- No Interview for Office Assistant
- Final Merit will be published based on Main Examination and Interview performance in the percentage ratio of 80:20.

How To Apply :
A candidate can apply for the Post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and can also apply for the Post of Officer. However a candidate can apply for only one post in officer’s cadre i.e. for Officer Scale-I or Scale-II or Scale-III.
