Indian Air Force www.careerairforce.nic.in invites opportunities for Unmarried Male Citizens from the designated districts of Rajasthan to the post of Airmen for Group ‘Y’ {IAF(S)} Trade and Group ‘X’ (Education Instructor) Trade. The registration will start from 14 Sep 2015 and the date of recruitment test for registered candidates will be starting from 1 Dec to 11 Dec 2015.

Salary :
- During training, a stipend of Rs. 11,400/- per month will be paid.
- On completion of training the starting gross emoluments at the minimum of scale of pay including Grade Pay, Military Service Pay (MSP), Group ‘X’ Pay and Dearness Allowance (DA) will be as follows:-
- (a) Group ‘Y’ {For IAF (S)} Trade. Rs. 20,500/- per month (approximately) which, in subsequent years, may rise up to Rs. 38,720/- per month (approximately). Special allowance {IAF(S)} @ Rs. 10,500/- per month on completion of training.
- (b) Group ‘X’ (Education Instructor) Trade. Rs. 25,780/- per month (approximately) which, in subsequent years, may rise up to Rs. 54,360/- per month (approximately).
- Other allowances such as Transport allowance, Composite personal maintenance allowance (CPMA), Leave Ration allowance (LRA), Family planning allowance, HRA etc. are also admissible to airmen.
Eligibility Criteria :
Age Limit :
- (a) Candidates for Group ‘Y’ {IAF(S)} Trade.
- (i) Candidates should be born between 01 February 1996 to 31 May 1999 (both days inclusive).
- (ii) Upper age limit on date of enrolment is 21 years.
- (b) Candidates for Group ‘X’ (Education Instructor) Trade.
- (i) For Graduates. Should be born between 01 August 1991 and 31 May 1996 (both days inclusive).
- (ii) For Post-Graduates. Should be born between 01 August 1988 and 31 May 1996 (both days inclusive).
- (iii) Upper age limit on date of enrolment is 25 years and 28 years, for graduate and post graduate candidates respectively.
Educational Qualification :
- (a) For Group ‘Y’{IAF(S)} Trade.
- (i) Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central/State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR
- (ii) Passed Two years Vocational Course affiliated/recognised by CBSE / State Education Boards / Councils duly recognised at par with 10+2 by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Vocational Course or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.
- (b) Group ‘X’ (Education Instructor) Trade
- (i) Graduate in Arts or Commerce or Science with B.Ed Degree or Two years teaching experience in a Government recognized School/ College, with minimum 50% marks in aggregate in Graduation as well as B.Ed. OR
- (ii) Passed MA English (or) M.Sc in Mathematics or Physics or Computer Science (or) MCA with B.Ed Degree or Two years teaching experience in a Government recognized School/College.
