JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Learn and apply knowledge in areas of ASIC/SoC Physical Design, Custom circuit design, Power/signal integrity and reliability analysis.
• Work with world-wide customers to deploy EDA products for leading edge SoCs to address Power/Signal/Reliability challenges across entire design flow (Frontend/Backend, Custom/Analog Designs, Chip-pkg-system)
• As domain experts, provide consultation and help customers to optimize overall system design for performance/cost/reliability, and ensure reliable tape-out.
• Work with Customers / IP-providers / foundries to understand design challenges for emerging applications & advanced technology-nodes (10/7/5 nm)
• Create elegant and useful solutions to solve complex problems working on Ansys-Seascape platform: Semiconductor Industry’s First Big-Data Platform.
• Assist in coordinating and executing all technical activities involved in deploying Ansys products involving product evaluations, presentations, product demonstrations and trainings.

Job Summary:

The Application Engineer is a unique role responsible for solving leading edge SoC design challenges working with world-wide customers to deploy Ansys Semiconductor and Electronics Business Unit products. These products are used across all top semi-conductor and fabless companies in world for large complex SoCs to address Power/Signal/Reliability challenges across Chip-Package-System at 16/10/7/5 nm.
