Physical Research Laboratory [ www.prl.res.in ] PRL is recruiting to 18 posts of Scientific Assistant in pay scale of Rs 9300 – 34800 plus 4600 grade pay. Candidates must possess First Class BSc degree from Physics or Chemistry branch with minimum of 60% of marks. Eligibility Criteria :
- First Class B.Sc. (with minimum 60%* of marks) with Physics orChemistry Main, from a recognized University/ Institution.

Selection Process:
- There will be an initial screening based on the online application. The criteria for screening
may include factors such as percentage/class in B.Sc, experience if so decided, age etc.
vis-a-vis number of total applications or any other criteria as decided by the Director, PRL. - The qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and possession of the same does
not automatically make candidates eligible for further evaluation for selection. - There will be Written Test of screened-in candidates, which will be followed by Personal
Interview. Candidates who qualify in the Written Test, as per the norms decided by PRL
only will be interviewed. - The candidates scoring minimum 60% marks in overall evaluation/assessment shall be
considered as suitable for final selection and accordingly selection panel will be prepared.
Job Description :
- The incumbent will be required to work in Scientific Divisions / Laboratories at PRL towards ongoing and future experimental programmes and any other jobs may be assigned from time to time .
