Role Overview
The Trainee Engineer position combines structured technical training with on-the-job learning assignments. Selected candidates will support project and operations teams across infrastructure technologies used in enterprise environments.
- Assist with the deployment and support of AV solutions, network infrastructure, ELV systems, cybersecurity solutions and data centre infrastructure.
- Support the installation, configuration, testing and maintenance of technology systems.
- Monitor infrastructure performance and assist teams in troubleshooting technical issues.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, network diagrams and project records.
- Coordinate with internal teams, customers, vendors and service partners during project execution and support activities.
- Participate in preventive maintenance, audits, infrastructure health checks, proof-of-concept activities and technology evaluations.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Applicants should have a Diploma Engineering, B. Sc., BCA, BCS, MCA or M. Sc. qualification.

Key Responsibilities
- Complete assigned technical training programmes and on-the-job learning activities.
- Help deploy and support AV, networking, ELV, cybersecurity and data centre solutions.
- Install, configure, test and maintain infrastructure systems under team guidance.
- Monitor systems and assist in resolving technical issues.
- Maintain project documentation, technical reports, network diagrams and records.
- Work with customers, vendors, service partners and internal stakeholders to support project delivery.
- Follow information security, safety, quality and compliance standards.
- Support preventive maintenance, audits and infrastructure health checks.
- Assist with PoC, testing, validation and technology evaluation initiatives.
- Complete assigned tasks, project milestones and deliverables on time.
Skills Required
- Basic understanding of computer networks and communication systems.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Understanding of IP-based technologies, cybersecurity fundamentals, cloud computing concepts and data centre technologies.
- Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, structured cabling and ELV systems.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
