Role Overview
The Disaster Recovery Operations Analyst I will support Caterpillar’s resilience and recovery programme as part of the India Cybersecurity Support team. This is an entry-level role focused on keeping recovery information accurate, helping teams prepare for tests and ensuring that risks, issues and action items are visible to stakeholders.
- Maintain disaster recovery plans, inventories, contact lists and supporting records.
- Assist with planning and executing disaster recovery tests and annual recovery exercises.
- Track remediation actions, risks, issues and recovery-readiness activities.
- Work with application, infrastructure and support teams to collect and validate recovery information.
- Monitor adherence to disaster recovery standards and procedures.
- Prepare reports, dashboards and presentation material for governance meetings.
- Participate in recovery exercises and record lessons learned and improvement areas.
- Escalate identified gaps, risks and issues to senior team members.
- Support audit, compliance and governance activities.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Degree, diploma, apprenticeship or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business or a related discipline.
- This is an entry-level role supporting disaster recovery and technology resilience operations.
- Foundational understanding of Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity or Operational Resilience concepts is preferred.
- Awareness of IT Service Management principles and an interest in technology risk and resilience management are preferred.
- The position requires onsite work five days a week in Bangalore.
