Role Overview
The Associate AI Solution Consultant will work in Celonis’ Value Engineering team and Center of Excellence, supporting local field teams and strategic customers. The Orbit programme combines onboarding, targeted training and hands-on client work covering Process Intelligence, AI solutioning, value selling and customer adoption.
- Understand customer AI strategies, business challenges and technical requirements.
- Build solutions on the Celonis Process Intelligence platform using SQL, PQL and Python.
- Use AI and machine learning technologies to prototype solutions during customer hackathons.
- Support customers in applying autonomous AI agents to business operations.
- Deliver proof-of-value projects aligned with customer objectives and AI strategies.
- Develop expertise in selected business domains or industries, such as supply chain.
- Present and quantify business value for customers, including to senior executives.
- Support projects until agreed value and adoption thresholds are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a product and domain expert to identify the best fit between customer problems and Celonis solutions.
- Rapidly create practical AI prototypes for complex business problems through customer hackathons.
- Help customers move from rule-based automation to AI-agent-led process transformation.
- Execute business-critical Proof-of-Value projects from initial scoping through outcome delivery.
- Create reusable collateral, best-practice models and tools for the Global Value Engineering Centre of Excellence.
- Manage customer engagements and contribute to successful implementation, adoption and value realisation.
- Build knowledge in areas such as procurement, order management, inventory management or production where relevant.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of generative AI techniques such as retrieval-augmented generation, few-shot learning, prompt or context engineering, multi-agent orchestration, multimodal understanding and fine-tuning.
- Good knowledge of Python and common machine learning libraries, including LangChain, pandas, pydantic, scikit-learn and PyTorch.
- Understanding of data engineering tools and technologies.
- Ability to build agentic systems using LLM orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation, function calling and prompt engineering.
- Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving ability.
- Confidence in presenting to diverse audiences and senior stakeholders.
- Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering measurable value.
- Foundational business acumen and domain understanding, particularly in areas such as supply chain.
