Role Overview
The Quality Testing Associate Analyst will support QA and test management for SAP and integrated applications. The position combines hands-on manual testing with test documentation, defect management, reporting and coordination with SAP and business teams.
- Support the planning and execution of testing activities across SAP and integrated applications.
- Perform manual, functional, regression, retesting and user acceptance testing support.
- Prepare, review, maintain and execute test cases based on requirements and test scenarios.
- Document test evidence and results for completed testing activities.
- Manage testing information through Jira and qTest.
- Prepare test status reports and metrics using Microsoft Excel.
- Coordinate with SAP and business teams while following QA standards and escalating risks or blockers on time.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or a related discipline is required.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with 0–2 years of experience in Software Testing, QA, SAP Testing or a related area can apply.
- The role is based in Hebbal, Bangalore, Karnataka, and follows a hybrid work mode.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute testing activities with the QA and test management teams.
- Carry out functional, regression, manual and retesting activities against approved requirements, scenarios and test cases.
- Create and maintain test cases and record supporting test evidence.
- Identify defects and log them in Jira with clear descriptions, screenshots, severity and priority details.
- Track defects through their lifecycle, perform retesting and close them after resolution.
- Use qTest to manage test cases, monitor execution and maintain defect status.
- Support traceability between requirements and test cases.
- Prepare test status reports and metrics in Excel.
- Work with SAP and business teams to communicate progress and raise risks or blockers promptly.
Skills Required
- Basic understanding of the software development life cycle and software testing life cycle.
- Knowledge of manual testing concepts and the defect lifecycle.
- Clear documentation skills for test results and defects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn SAP applications, testing tools and enterprise testing processes.
- Basic exposure to qTest and Jira is useful.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for test tracking, reporting, data analysis and basic formulas is useful.
- Basic understanding of SAP Testing, Quality and Test Management, and SAP modules such as MM, SD, OTC and MTD is useful.
