Indian Academy of Sciences, www.iisc.ac.in Bangalore has invited online applications for undergraduate students to enroll in summer internships/projects through two different tracks. Applications will be accepted till April 15, 2018 and the candidate selection will be made before April 30, 2018. The selected candidates will get a stipend of Rs. 12000 for the entire 6 week period.

Eligibility Criteria :
The internship is open to students currently in their 3rd year of B.E./B.Tech programme only.
The Department of Chemical Engineering conducts a 6 week summer internship programme every year, typically during the months of May and June. The internship provides an opportunity for the students to get familiar with state of the art research being done in the Chemical Engineering Department. During the internship, students are expected to do a short project in one of the labs. There will also be a series of lectures on current research topics by the faculty.
Due to shortage of rooms, accommodation cannot be provided within IISc campus. However, there are a lot of paying guest type accommodations available close to the campus and the department will help you find suitable accommodation. The responsibility of finding a suitable accommodation, however, lies with the students
