About SBI Specialist Cadre Officers (SO) Recruitment 2015-16

SBI has invited Applications for  eligible Indian Citizens for appointment in Specialist Cadre Officers in State Bank Groups. Candidates can apply for vacancies in one Bank and one State only and will have to appear for the test from an examination center for that particular State. Candidates can appear for the test only once under this recruitment project. Recruitment Examination For Specialist Officers (SO) will be conducted online tentatively in 14 June 2015 on various dates.

Salary: 60k per month

Eligibility Criteria:

B.E./ B. Tech in Computer Science/ Computer Application/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunications/ Electronics & Communications/ Electronics & Instrumentation or M. Sc. in Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunications/ Electronics & Communications/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Computer Science/Information Technology/ Computer Applications or MCA from Government recognized University/ Institutes.

Desirable : Experience in computer programming in a reputed organization would be desirable

Selection Process : The selection of candidates will be on the basis of online written test and interview. The test will be conducted tentatively on 14.06.2015 (In case the number of applicants are less, Bank reserves the right to complete the selection process through shortlisting and interview instead of through online written test and interview). The date of test will be uploaded on Bank’s website and also advised to the candidates through SMS and e mails. Candidates will be required to download the call letters. The test may be held at Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Bangalore, Bhopal, Raipur, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Jammu, Srinagar, Chennai, Madurai, Guwahati, Hyderabad / Secunderabad, Vishakhapatnam, Kolkata / Greater Kolkata, Lucknow, Varanasi, Mumbai / Greater Mumbai / Thane / Navi Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune, Dehradun, Jaipur, New Delhi/ Delhi/ NCR, Patna, Ranchi, Ernakulam & Trivandrum centres.

• SC/ST/PWD : Rs. 100/- (Intimation Charges only)
• General and others : Rs. 600/- (App. Fee including intimation only)
