About IAF AFCAT 2015 Recruitment:

The Indian Air Force has invited applications from eligible candidates for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) from male and female candidates. The online application process will be open till January 1, 2015.

Location: Across India

Salary:

Flying Officers will be entitled to Pay in Pay Band of 15,600 -39,100 per month along with Grade Pay, Military Service Pay, Dearness Allowance, Kit Maintenance Allowance, Transport Allowance.

On successful completion of Training, the newly Commissioned Flying Officers would be entitled to approximate gross monthly emoluments in different branches including Transport Allowance of major cities as follows:

Flying Branch : Rs. 74,264/-

Technical Branch : Rs. 65,514/-

Ground Duty Branches: Rs. 63,014/-

Eligibility Criteria:

Flying Branch– Graduates (Minimum three year degree course) in any discipline from a recognized University who have attained minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have passed Maths and Physics at 10+2 level or BE / B Tech degree (Four year course)from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together.

Technical Branch-

I- Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics) {AE (L)} – Candidates applying for AE (L) branch would be eligible if they have undergone a minimum of four year degree qualification from a recognized University or cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India or Graduate membership examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers by actual studies.

II- Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical) {AE (M)} – Candidates applying for AE (M) branch would be eligible if they have undergone a minimum of four year degree qualification from a recognized University or cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India by actual studies.

Ground Duty Branches-

I- Administration & Logistics- Graduate Degree (Minimum three year degree course) in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate of all papers put together or a Post Graduate Degree / equivalent Diploma in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together.

II- Accounts- Graduate Degree in Commerce (B Com)(Minimum three year degree course) with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate of all papers put together or Post Graduate Degree in Commerce (M Com) / CA/ ICWA with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together.

III- Education- Post Graduate Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together.

Note: Candidates appearing in final year/semester examination are also eligible.

Age Limit:

Flying Branch- 20-24 Years

Technical Branch- 20-26 Years

Ground Duty Branches- 20-26 Years

Selection Procedure:

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the interview/test conducted by the organization.

  1. those who have completed the diploma(after 10 ) can apply for the flying branches?
    because these students didn’t complete the 12th and requirement is 60% aggregate in math and physics
